I really like this album. Of course the previous three albums have been absolute crackers. So this is 4 in a row now. I'd pay the price of this album just for the first half dozen bars of Forgetful Heart. This Dream of You is a beautiful song. I love the opening Beyond Here Lies Nothin' which has a nice cha cha feel. I Feel A Change Comin' On is perfect. When it's all said and done you've got to admire the sheer work ethic of this bloke. Producer as well. When most people dream of retiring at 55, ... Read More

Though not on par with his three prior later career masterpieces, Together Through Life is another worthy Bob Dylan album. Fans should certainly get his major albums first, but anyone interested in him should eventually check it out, while significant differences from his other albums mean it may possibly appeal to those not usually keen on him.

This is a great 33rd studio album "Together Through Life" by the legendary singer-songwriter Bob Dylan : a collection of ravaged love songs in the unmistakeable craggy voice of Bob Dylan in the blues fashion reminiscent of the hey days of the American Blues. Why do so many Amazon reviewers rate an album with 5 stars? It skews the rating system making the metric absolutely useless.
Highway 61 isn't even a 5-star album....how could this one be? Dylan has released a lot of 4-star albums, Highway 61, Blonde on Blonde, John Wesley Harding among them. But, in my view, only Freewheelin' and Bringing It All Back Home merit 5 stars.
This album certainly isn't as good as Freewheelin'. This album isn't even as good as "Down in the Groove" ... Read More

This is Bob Dylan's 33rd studio album. It's has sort of a bluesy, old time feel to it. This type of material suits Dylan's ravaged voice well. If you're a Dylan fan, you'll like this album. If you aren't, you won't.
